we're a four-person studio in india picking + making gifts by hand. we want a few more of you. no resume, no portfolio, no zoom. just an email + a photo of something you've made or wrapped.
a real person reads every email. usually priya. usually within 2 days.
you'd be one of us. five days a week in the studio, doing what we do. sourcing, packing, custom pieces — your pick once you settle in.
you make our made-to-order pieces at home. we ship materials + a brief + a pre-paid return. you make. you ship back. we ship to the buyer.
you're just starting. you want to learn the craft of good gifting. we'll teach the rest. 6-month track. ends in a resident offer if we both want it.
team breakfast (we cook). pick up where you left off. one short check-in.
long stretch. headphones in. no meetings. yarn breaks every ~90 min.
wash + block + finish day. press loose threads. tag pieces with your name.
deep work. usually the biggest commissions. lunch is paid for, eaten together.
ship out. then we cut a piece open to study, on purpose, to keep getting better.
off. fully. we don't slack you. we don't email you. promise.
if you can honestly nod at 4+ of these, we want to hear from you. no need to be perfect at all six.
we'll save us both the time.
four steps. usually 2–3 weeks. no take-home assignments unpaid.

within 2 working days, a real human (priya, usually). if it's a fit, we'll ask 3–4 questions over email. no zoom unless you want one.
we send a brief + materials. you make or curate one piece. we pay you for it whether or not we hire you. seriously.
if it's a yes from both sides, we start. resident makers come in. visiting makers get their first batch. apprentices begin the 6-month track.
