Questions people ask

What is the kynq campus ambassador program?

A volunteer program for students in India who are 18 or over. Ambassadors represent kynq, an 18+ random video chat, on their campus and complete a daily evening task.

Who can apply?

Students who are 18 or older and currently studying at a college or university in India.

Is it paid?

No. It's a volunteer program, not a job. Ambassadors get goodies and Koins.

Do I get a certificate?

We haven't announced one. If that changes, we'll say so on our pages.

How do I apply?

Fill in the form on the campus ambassador page. It takes about two minutes, with no CV or essay.

How long until I hear back?

We reply by email. If you haven't heard in about a week, write to hi@kynq.in.

What is the daily task?

Between 8 PM and 10 PM IST, make 10 or more video calls of at least 3 minutes each, which is 30 minutes on video. It earns 50 Koins and counts towards goodies.

What happens if I miss a day?

Your streak restarts. Your totals, badges and activity history stay.

What are Koins?

kynq's in-app currency, used for things like games, camera filters and gifts. Ambassadors get 5,000 a month.

How do I unlock goodies?

Complete the daily task enough days in a month and spend your full 5,000 Koins in that same month. The team sets the tiers.

Can I promote kynq to anyone?

Only to people who are 18 or older. Never to minors.

Can I record or screenshot my chats to share?

No. Never record, screenshot or share anyone's video, audio or chat.

Can I use fake accounts?

No. Fake accounts, paying or pressuring people to sign up, and spam are all against the program's ground rules.
