How to report and block someone on kynq

Reporting during a call

Tap the flag in the call controls, then choose what happened — for example nudity, harassment or someone who looks under 18. Your report is saved against the call and reviewed afterwards. Calls aren't recorded, so the report itself, who it's about and how often that person has been reported are what we act on.

Blocking

Choose "Block and end call" in the same panel. The call ends straight away and you will never be matched with that person again.

What happens to the person reported

Reports are reviewed by a person. As a first line of defence, an account that collects three open reports is automatically restricted from the matching queue while that review happens. Restricted is not the same as banned — it stops them meeting new people, not everything else.

Just want to move on?

You don't need a reason to leave. "Next person" ends the call and starts searching again, and "Leave" (the red button on mobile) takes you back to the start.

Questions

Will the other person know I reported them?

No. A report is between you and kynq.

Can I report someone after a call has ended?

Reports are made from inside a call today. If a call ended before you could, contact us and include roughly when it happened.

Does blocking work on friends too?

Yes. Blocking removes any friendship and stops both matching and messages.
